The first stop on the Batemans Bay Snorkelling Trail is 12 kilometres north of Batemans Bay at Maloneys Beach. As well as being a fantastic spot for snorkelling, Maloneys is ideal for family outings with a grassy reserve, toilets, boat ramp, electric barbecues and covered picnic area.
The next destination is Sunshine Cove Beach, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay. This vibrantly coloured beach provides spectacular snorkelling. From rocky reefs to seaweed beds, there is plenty to see. While snorkelling, you are also likely to encounter endemic fish such as red morwong, luderick and bream as well as lobsters, gropers and abalone.
Lastly, head eight kilometres south to the ancient Guerilla Bay. Snorkel through the beautiful blue waters and explore some of the oldest, most picturesque rocks on Eurobodalla's coastline.
To finish the day enjoy a picnic or even take a walk to Burrewurra Point to see the WWII bunker.
