We had tickets for a 3pm departure from King Street Wharf and were right on time when we left. We had booked for bottomless sparkling champagne and a seafood platter to accompany it. We were sat with a bottle of the champagne waiting for us and the food arrived a couple of minutes into the cruise. The food was delightful and plenty for 2 people to enjoy while taking in the views. We finished up our food and enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne on the lower deck before heading up to the top deck to get some more sunshine and fresh air while we made the final stop before we departed in Circular Quay. Staff were super attentive and helpful and full of smiles which was great to see. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be looking for another reason to go again
We booked a hop on hop off ticket with Taronga Zoo entry. The number of Hoho trips is very limited and doesn’t sit with what you would want to do. For example if you chose to get off you msg have quite a wait fir the next ferry! By comparison the Sydney Ferries travel to distinct locations and back I.e. Manley. Having now experienced how the system works I believe you are better buying an Opel Travel Card, which lets you use the ferries, trams, trains and buses. You have to add a minimum $20 to the card and then you have the freedom and flexibility to do anything and everything. It Is a Tap on Tap off service with a ferry ride being about $6 but is dependant on how far you go.
Cruise offered a surprising number of destinations among Sydney Harbor's 67 bays. We got 2-day pass and were glad we did. Schedules were spot-on and the narrations varied enough from speaker to speaker that even sailing the same route was interesting.
Was a nice cruise around Sydney harbour, however we didn’t know that after a certain time you could only get off the boat at one stop. This was one of the furthest away from the starting point, so we basically had a cruise if the harbour. It also was not clear that the voucher was only good for the date on the voucher, so when we went to use it in day two of our stay we were told it was for the day before. They did allow us to use it, for the day after, which was good of them, but it would have been nice to know we had to use it on day one of our visit. Nice views of the harbour and opera house though, so it wasn’t a total loss.
Great transportation around the harbour if you’re short on time. The drop off is the same spot as the pick up. Crew was quick and friendly. They were very helpful in providing suggestions for your visit. The schedule handout was a bit confusing at first, but overall a good experience. Well worth it for two days of activities in Sydney.
