Wonder Mama was wonderful. Such a sweet, sassy, sparkly soul. If you have the time (just make the time) and take a celebratory crosswalk with this Sydney gem. 💗

From start to finish the Fabulous Wondermama Walking Tour was an absolute blast! Personality plus from this warm and amazing host, who not only told us the history of the area but forged a real sense of connection and understanding with stories of the community's past. Above this, it was obvious how Wondermama was a much loved and respected member of the area, embraced by the hearts of all! It was also a wonderful taste-tester of the great stores in the area, to go back to later and made us feel like we were helping the reinvigoration of this important cultural district. If you're hesitating about booking, don't...it'll be the best 3 hours you spend in Sydney!

I so enjoyed the interesting and colourful walking tour with the added bonus of meeting other people from Australia and travellers from abroad. I am a Sydney local and in my younger years practically lived in Oxford street enjoying the many bars and restaurants and shops, to hear Wonder Mama's storytelling of the amazing history of the area and the "underground" I discovered a whole new Oxford Street I didn't know existed. I found Wonder Mama very engaging and entertaining and would highly recommend this tour for locals and visitors to Sydney.

I live in Sydney and have walked the street of Darlinghurst many times, yet I still learned so much about the buildings, people, shops and stories of how the gay scene evolved. Met some locals along the way who were funny characters. I felt like a star walking next to Wonder Mana as cars honked and bystanders said hello. Wonder Mama was fabulous. It was great fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

This is such a great way to find out more about how Oxford Street came about in obtaining it's famous name Wonder Mama provides us with so much information from the history of Mardi Gras to how Oxford Street became the hub for Sydney's LGBTi community, where to go eat & go for a drink, Oxford Streets iconic landmarks...not to mention the fantastic retail therapy that Oxford Street has to offer! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in finding out more about Oxford Street. Most of all this tour was lots of fun. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon!!

This was an incredible tour around the Sydney Oxford Street (gay) scene. Wonder Mama was delightful and very informative about the origins of the area. It was a very fun and fantatsic way to spend a sat afternoon. The tour was really pleasant and interesting. Wonder Mama is a very interesting tour guide thats for sure !!!
